Hi, my name is Connor. I’ve spent my career helping organizations turn complex security challenges into practical, maintainable solutions. Whether architecting enterprise IAM systems or designing full-stack applications from the ground up, I’m driven by one goal: to build technology that actually works for the people who depend on it.
That drive took shape at Siriux, where I served as Director of Product Development. I led the creation of a fully serverless SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) platform using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cognito, and Auth0, with a React front end and Node.js back end, all running at under $50 a month in maintenance costs. I collaborated directly with customers, supported incident response and remediation after breaches, and built engineering processes that aligned perfectly with business needs. When Siriux was acquired by Vectra, it became clear that what I valued most was not the acquisition itself, but the process of building, solving, and enabling.
That realization became No Useless Tech, a consultancy dedicated to making security, automation, and AI integration both accessible and effective.
Through No Useless Tech, I have:
Developed a legal case-management dashboard for a major healthcare provider using Logic Apps, Power BI, PowerShell, and Microsoft Purview.
Created and taught advanced training on automating Microsoft APIs with PowerShell for IANS.
Built Azure and Microsoft 365 security posture assessments for FireMon using TypeScript and Bicep templates.
Developed a full-stack web application for a rural grocery system, including access management through Azure Logic Apps and PowerShell automation.
Designed a custom external user-management solution for SharePoint to support HIPAA-compliant data sharing.
Engineered DFIR augmentation tools for a BlackRock subsidiary, wrapping undocumented Exchange APIs in a GUI for rapid evidence gathering.
Provided SSPM configuration input for product design at 1Password.
Supported CI/CD and cloud-security modernization for a Texas law firm.
Completed PCI gap analyses and guided startups to SOC 2 compliance following breaches.
Led AI adoption initiatives for law firms, streamlining case analysis and argument generation.
Created frameworks for AI-driven SaaS-to-SaaS integrations, making cross-platform management simple and auditable.
Before founding No Useless Tech, I held roles at Robert Half Technology, Optum, and Xcel Energy, where I led multi-factor authentication rollouts, architected Zero Trust frameworks, and built automation pipelines that saved teams thousands of engineering hours.
If your business could use a little less chaos and a little more clarity, I’d love to help make that happen. Together, we can build systems that are secure, efficient, and built to last.
These days, I live on a small farm in Tennessee with my wife, four kids, and more animals than I can count. I haven’t figured out how to grow graphics cards yet, but I’m pretty sure I’ve overclocked a few tomato plants trying. I love experimenting in the kitchen and sharing whatever I make with the people I care about.
